Changes !

Hello folks ! 

J'ai le plaisir de participer à l'exposition "Changes, a Bowie tribut" qui se tient en ce moment au "Lunch box & Tiki room" à Madrid et qui sera bientôt mis en ligne sur le site de Susanita's Little Gallery. 

J'ai choisi de travailler autour d'une scène du film "Le prestige" dans lequel David Bowie joue le rôle de Nikola Tesla.

I choose a scene of the movie "The prestige"in which David Bowie plays as Nikola Tesla.

Hello folks !

Have I ever told you that when I was a child,

 I dreamed to become an indian chief and live in a teepee ? 

I spent so much time to read "Hom to live like an indian" when I was at my Grand Ma's house.

 It was my reference book °^°/

Then... when Susana invit me to participate at the Peter pan & Wendy show I have to do something with Tiger Lily my favorite character. 

So I started to work on. And then... you know, sweet child memories...  I remembered that at my grandma's  house I played with tall rag doll my great aut sewed. 

So her doll inspired me to do this piece. 

This Tiger Lily's rag doll is very important for me because of the link with my family history and what they shared with me.  And I'm glad to share it with you all.

Vous ai-je déjà dit que gamine 

je voulais être une chef indienne et vivre dans un tipi ?

Je lisais et relisais sans cesse " comment vivre comme un indien" lorsque j'étais chez ma grand mère.

C'est l'ouvrage de référence de mon enfance °^°/

Du coup, lorsque Susana m'a invitée à participer à l'exposition sur Peter Pan et wendy, j'étais obligée de faire quelque chose autour de Lily La Tigresse, mon personnage favori.

J'ai donc commencé à travailler dessus avec plein de souvenirs d'enfance en tête. Et je me suis souvenue que chez ma grand mère je jouais souvent avec de grandes poupées en chiffon que ma grande tante avait imaginées et fabriquées.

Ce sont ces poupées qui m'ont inspirée pour la création de cette pièce.

Ces liens avec l'histoire de ma famille et ce qu'elle me transmet font de "Tiger Lily" une pièce très importante pour moi et je suis très heureuse de pouvoir partager tout ça avec vous.

Charlie and the chocolate factory

Hello folks ! 

Today is the opening of the "Charlie and the chocolate factory" art show at the newborn online gallery: Susanita's little gallery.
I of course love Roald Dahl book and I'm proud to participate at this show with this piece. 

It's an original artwork made with acrylic and golden pencil.

And very important, 20% of the sales will be donated to the Roald Dahl's marvellous children's charity.

Hello !

Well, It's been a long time I didn't write or show anything here. I had a lot of work this last two months and I moved out to Lille to live and work near my dear friend Amélie the other octopus woman, you know. We will do some good thing together, I think. New life and new projects are very exciting !

I wanted to do something like this since a long time. I love embroidery !

Edward scissorhands

Edward aux mains d'argent, le célèbre film de Tim Burton fête ses 20 ans ! Pour l'occasion de nombreux artistes ont été invité par Sebastien Mesnard à rendre hommage à ce magnifique conte moderne.
